The Saranac Lake Winter Carnival is a popular destination for people all across our region. The first event happened in the 1800′s and it is still going strong. We talked with Jeff Dickinson about the Carnival that runs through this weekend. In addition to a rundown of events, he told us how the Carnival’s signature Ice Palace was rebuilt just before the Carnival opened thanks to the hard work of local volunteers. It is quite a story!
